We are really excited to have a great line-up of orchid vendors coming to this year’s show at Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville, MD next weekend (Feb 15-17)…some are old favorites and some are new to our show this year.

Starting in no particular order is:  Orchid Enterprise, run by Ken Meier.  Here is the URL:  www.orchidenterprise.com.  Ken offers a lovely selection of blooming plants, is a long time orchid judge, and gives great advice on how to grow these plants.

Here is a photo of Ken on an orchid trip to Ecuador a few years ago.

Next up is Woodstream Orchids (http://www.woodstreamorchids.com/), run by Bill Goldner and Lynn Evans-Goldner.  Bill is also an AOS judge.  Woodstream Orchids is located in Huntingtown MD, and is an easy drive from the DC area.  Bill and Lynn specialize in slipper orchids, particularly Phragmipediums, as well as species orchids from Central and South America.

J & L Orchids (https://jlorchids.com/) is located in Easton, Connecticut.  They have offered an amazing variety of miniature orchids since 1969.  Cordelia Head works with the new owners, the Carreno family, to keep offering little gems that we never knew that we needed until we fell in love at first site.

We will make another post to highlight the rest of our vendors in the next few days.

Looking forward to seeing you at the NCOS Show.  Be sure to visit the vendors.  They are a great source of both plants and information!!
