Member Meetings

We are currently holding our monthly Member Meetings both in-person and virtually.

Members’ meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month (except for February, June, July, August). We are currently meeting at the North Chevy Chase Christian Church located at 8814 Kensington Parkway Chevy Chase, MD 20815.  Doors open at 7:00 pm.

Members are encouraged to bring in plants for the Member Show Table to the meeting. The Show Table is a unique way to see a wide range of orchids, win ribbons and get valuable tips and tricks from other growers. The Show Table is divided into categories covering:

  • the major groups or orchids (Phalaenopsis, Cattleya, Phragmipedium and Paphiopedilum etc.)
  • experience levels, ranging from novice growers, windowsill growers to large greenhouse growers

Entries for the show table must be submitted by 7:30 pm. Show Table judging begins at 7:30 pm and is performed by a group of members.
