Special NCOS Events
NCOS membership goes beyond our regular meetings. Members can enjoy special events, educational programs and other exclusive opportunities throughout the year.
February: The 47th Annual Paphiopedilum Forum
Open to members and non-members, this full-day seminar features three speakers, specialty vendors, and opportunities to learn and connect with fellow slipper orchid enthusiasts.
April: Annual Orchid Auction and Sale
Our annual public auction and sale is a chance to share plants from your collection and discover orchids from fellow members’ collections. It’s also our largest fundraiser of the year!
May: Member Appreciation Event
Connect with members, friends and family at this special community event.
September: Annual International Orchid Show and Sale
Enjoy our three-day orchid event featuring stunning displays, nationally and internationally recognized vendors, educational talks, AOS judging, and opportunities for members to participate and volunteer.
December: Member Holiday Party
Celebrate the year with fellow members while sharing stories, growing tips and accomplishments.

Our membership is made up of growers with a wide range of experience who share best practices and help each other. By becoming an active member of our community, you will have the opportunity to discuss how to grow these wonderful plants with other orchid growers, be provided access to plant stock from growers around the country and from the collections of other members, and receive regular communications about local events, activities, and orchid culture.
