This Saturday, one of my favorite events of the year will take place – the NCOS Paph Forum! The event will be held at the US National Arboretum’s Visitor Center in Washington DC on Saturday January 25, 2020 from 8 AM to 5 PM.
The Paph Forum is a rare treat that includes learning about the newest trends and discoveries about Paphs, Phrags and Cypripediums. The featured speakers include orchid researchers like Dr. Harold Koopowitz, and well known growers like Jeff Morris of Charlottesville.
This is also a unique opportunity to buy plants from some of the best breeders and growers from the mid-Atlantic region, California and Hawaii.
Vendors will include:
- Woodstream Orchids – Bill Goldner and Lynn Evans-Goldner
- Cove Lab – Nancy Mountford
- Floradise Orchids – Janet Cherchuk and Steve Schifflett
- Paph Paradise – David and Stacey Sorokowsky
- Marriott Orchids – Hadley Cash
- Harold Koopowitz
- Jeff Morris
- The Orchidfix Nursery – Jurahame Leyva
The sales area is in the main lobby of the Arboretum’s Visitor Center, and is open to the public for sales.
The lecture and display area are not open to the public. However, you can register for the event on-site on Saturday. The Paph Forum’s page has the complete details.
Hope to see many of our fellow Slipper enthusiasts bright and early Saturday morning!!
